Why the theme I installed does not look the same as the screenshots
Somtimes we recieved message as “Why the theme I installed does not look the same as the screenshots on iThemeSky”. Yes, if you had not install the theme’s required app/widget, the theme will looks ugly after you install it.
We provide a lot of awesome lockscreen themes, most of these lockscreen themes need two additional widgets for work perfectly. Here we take LS TimedWalls for example.
1. Download and install LS TimedWalls, then apply it in Winterboard.
There are two clock bars on the screen, and the texts “Slide to unlock” make it looks so ugly. we need to hide the iOS default lockscreen clock bar and the text “Slide to unlock”.
2. Download and install Lockscreen Clock Hide and SliderTextsKiller in Cydia
We need to install Lockscreen Clock Hide to hide the lockscreen clock . Install SliderTextsKiller or Slide to Unlock Killer or Springtomize to hide the “slide to unlock” text.
We choose to download and install Lockscreen Clock Hide and SliderTextsKilker in Cydia (They are free in cydia by default.)
3. Enable Lockscreen Clock Hide and SliderTextsKiller
Enable Lockscreen Clock Hide in Settings
Select and apply SliderTextsKiller in Winterboard then respring. The theme looks perfect now!
It seems so easy to install a lockscreen theme with widget now, but some themes are more complicated, you need to read the author’s installation guide and set the theme step by step. If you have any question, please leave a comment here.
I like to say that these instructions here were very simple to follow. I know that the authors do their best to provide a guide, but most of them are very hard to understand due to the fact that they don’t explain much. I have read some of the guidelines as to how to get the theme up and running properly, but most of them don’t even tell you how to do it, they just tell you go to config.js to make changes. If I didn’t know I needed ifile to do this, I would have been completely lost. I think that this is a much better way to have people like myself to get the theme downloaded working.
I have also downloaded the required apps to make sure the theme works, and still have problems with getting the icons to change, or the lock screen to work properly, or just get the theme you downloaded working with all the great stuff it comes with. I think that every author should have a website with easy to follow instructions like the one above. So once the person downloads, it should give you a link in cydia as to where to go for these intructions. Again, it is very important to have the proper guidelines so that it’s easier on those who are not tech savvy.
Well I know how to remove the lockscreen clock and unlock slide, but how do you change the city of the weather widget for some of the lockscreen themes? For example, the LS city daynight theme says Milan at the bottom. Is there any way to change the city name for these types of themes?
Find configureMe.js, edit itxx0042 to your location code.
can you help me , I installed many themes from ithemesky but I don’t know how to remove that theme from winterboard , can you please tell me how .
Browse to Library/themes/ then find the theme’s folder, delete it.

you buy this theme and get disappointed applying.
Paying then themeing your iphone one by one,if you need help and
ask for assistance,they’ll answer you with ”search xxxxx.js by yourself and edit it”
I have downloaded the application download ithemesky, Winterboard. but why after applying this theme for my I-phone, icon, wallpaper did not change? only its lock screen according to the theme I use pliers
I have a problem when installing a theme that unlocks by taping, like ” Ls Glow “, I use ” Slide to unlock killer” in winterboard i select all the three options, when i respring the slider disapears but i can’t tap to unlock, i must slide to unlock, even there isn’t a slider, Can anyone tell me why?? and what to do, to have a ” Tap to unlock ” ??

i have downloaded theme her in ithemesky. How can i set my lock screen theme same as my wallpaper? What usually appears is my own wallpaper even i installed new theme. please help.
I downloaded a theme for my lock screen called Bulatech but everytime i get a notification such as a text message, it wont show on my lock screen.
I installed a theme but how come I don’t get any text/imessage/facebook notifications on my lock screen? Is this normal?

Downloaded a theme for the firstime, City GPS on iPhone4s and it says check your internet connection.
